School Prayers of the week
These prayers were written by Father Peter for the Wednesday assembly in school.
You might like to pray them as a family during the week.
Prayer Let us pray. Please put your hands together and close your eyes. God our Father we thank you for the saints of the church whom we celebrate week by week. We thank you at this time for Joseph of Nazareth who was obedient to your command and became the earthly father of Jesus. Help us to be obedient to your will in all things. Lord in your mercy Hear our prayer Thank you for all those who help us to grow up. We thank you especially for the love and guidance we receive from our grandparents and other older people. Lord in your mercy Hear our prayer As Mothering Sunday draws near may we not lose sight of the role of Fathers in our family life.
